On July 9,2007, we went to E.D.Smith cherry farm and enjoyed the Largest "pick-your-own" Cherry farm with over 12 varieties to choose from grown on 6000 trees. Let's enjoy the family trandition once a year!(Photos)

On June 2nd, 2007, Kennedy College held a seminar titled “How to profit from the Chinese stock market today.” Mr. Yang Tao, who is a stock investment expert, spoke to students about the effects of the Chinese stock market within Toronto’s Chinese community. (Photos)

On May 26, 2007, Kennedy College was interested by CCETV, Ms. Wan, who is with our training department, explained the importance of international students within the Chinese community and Kennedy College. CCETV reported on the success of Kennedy College’s IT Training program and the various training programs offered in the school.

On Mar 16, 2007, our election has ended and all the ballots have been tallied up! There were a total of 5 different candidates elected for and the ballots were close!

Feb 2007

The students at Kennedy College celebrated their Chinese new year on Feb 15th, 2007. The students had a great time at the party! There was lots of good traditional Chinese food as well as other tasty treats. All students had the opportunity to mingle with one another as well as with the college staffs. Jan 2007, we have a number of students who have successfully transferred to Cape Breton University, and Centennial College for their further studying. Congratulations to all these students and we wish them a successful future.

Dec 2006

After great success in June, CQE students did a fantastic job one more time, with a 90% passing rate on their December CQE exam. We need to mention that after ASQ updated their textbook to a new addition textbook at the end of September, our students had only two months to prepare for this exam. We are very impressed with our instructor, Mr. Li, and our excellent students. We will have a celebration party on December 16!

On Dec, 8, 2006, Mr. John Mayich from Cape Breton University held an information Seminar at Kennedy College to provide our students an opportunity to learn about the Canadian Education System and workforce trends for 2007.

On Nov, 30, 2006, Kennedy College and Centennial College have made a collaboration agreement. Graduates of the Hotel Management program from Kennedy College can transfer up to 50% course credits to Centennial College for further study.

On Nov, 10, 2006, Kennedy College ESL students were attending a live taping of "The Gill Deacon Show". Our students had a great time watching the making of live television.

Oct 2006

Although there is only a 30% passing rate for the Six Sigma Black Belt exam in the whole world, Kennedy College students completed a MIRACLE on the SSBB exam in October 21, 2006, 100% successfully passed. Congratulations to students and our excellent instructor!

In June 2006, 12 of 15 students studying at Kennedy College passed the Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) exam and were successfully authorized a CQE certificate.

On June 6, 2006, Kennedy College made a collaboration agreement with Centennial College by which graduates from Kennedy College can transfer 50% of Business Administration Courses' credits to Centennial College for continued study.

We are proud to have the opportunity to welcome the delegates from the Shanghai Education Center to attend our 2 day seminar on Canadian Educational Policy. The seminar received a great response. The delegates had the chance to gain in-depth knowledge of the educational policy made by the three levels of government in Canada during the seminar. (See Photos)

Kennedy College has collaborated with Florida State University, a prestigious university that consistently rank among the nation's top fifty public universities in Tallahassee, Florida, USA, to develop a Industrial Engineering (MSIE) program in Toronto, Ontario. With specialization in Engineering Management, the MSIE program will endow graduate engineers and scientists with the analytical tools and managerial skills they need to excel in this highly competitive environment.

Kennedy College signed a new partnership agreement with Schiller International University(SIU) by which all students who have a 2-year diploma in business administration and hotel management from Kennedy College can further their studies at Schiller International University(SIU).

Congratulations to LEE Yun Ho and CHENG Jia Li (Michelle) for their academic success. Michelle has been successfully admitted to Ryerson University, and Yun Ho has two offers from the University of Ottawa for the BSc - Software Engineering and Carleton University for the BA Engineering - Software Engineering, with $10,000 Scholarship Award. All the staff and students wish them a prosperous future.

On December 20, 2004, at the Guvernment Night Club in Toronto, Kennedy College hosted a Dance Christmas Party. The event was a huge success for the over 300 students who participated from around the GTA. Our student Jackson had an outstanding performance that earned him the title "Dancing King." This is the latest example of how our students enjoy and benefit not only from academic training but also from select entertaining activities in Toronto .

Under the transfer agreement with University College of Cape Breton (UCCB), Kennedy College would like to congratulate its students, including Ms. Coco Chen and Ms. Vivian Wang who have been admitted as third-year students at UCCB. They will begin their studies in September 2004. This is yet another success story from Kennedy College.

Kennedy College is pleased to announce that the College has just entered into an agreement with the Canadian Securities Institute whereby the College is the only institution in the Greater Toronto Area that offers the official Canadian Securities Course (CSC) in Chinese.
